Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologist to join the cohesive and supportive team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This Level 1 Trauma Center has proudly been serving Central VA for over 50 years and is committed to providing the highest quality patient care with compassion and leading edge expertise.
Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:
- MD or DO licensure from an accredited institution and ABA board eligibility/certification required.
- Must be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license and DEA from the state of Virginia prior to employment.
- Care Team Model of 9 General Anesthesiologists, 4 CV Anesthesiologists and 34 CRNAs covering 20 sites of service.
- Diverse mix of cases including Trauma, Vascular, Thoracic, OB, General, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN, GI and Pediatrics.
- Annual surgical volume 17,000 cases. 500 labor epidurals on average.
- Average work week 40-45 hours in house.
- Call shifts are split equally amongst the team (in-house, no “home call”). Post call day off.
- Calls picked up beyond contracted numbers garner additional compensation.
- W2, salaried opportunity with very competitive compensation.
- $100k Start Date Bonus and up to $10k relocation assistance available.
