CNC Operator- ENTRY LEVEL POSITIONS- WILL TRAIN

Entry Level CNC Operator - ***Will Train*** All 3 Shifts Available

***MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN***

Chipmatic, Inc., a full-service machine shop facility and provider of contract turning and milling services, along with high production saw cutting located in Elmore, OH (20 minutes east of Toledo). Chipmatic, Inc. makes a broad range of parts for Aerospace, Automotive, Military Construction, and other industries. We are looking for driven individuals who have a team mindset, solid work ethic, and the willingness to learn, regardless of experience.

We are hiring for all shifts with a $2/hour shift premium paid for Afternoon or Night shift. Job Type: Full-time. Typical work week of 45-50 hours.

Pay based on experience: $16.00 - $20.00/hour, paid weekly.

Responsibilities:

• SAFETY above all else.
• Able to interpret blueprints and other specifications to determine product requirements a plus
• Operate basic material handling equipment
• Load raw steel materials into CNC machines
• Start and monitor machine cycles to ensure proper operation
• Adjust machine offsets and change the tooling per work instructions.
• Perform first-piece inspections using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, and Go/No Go tools.
• Identifies workmanship and material defects and deficiencies.
• Record production data such as quantities, run times, and issues
• Strong communication skills required
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion.

Experience:

• 1 year of CNC machining preferred, but we WILL INVEST in the right applicants. Mazak Mazatrol/G&M Code Programming/SolidWorks/Mastercam/Esprit a plus, but not required.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SPC and Gage software is a must along with Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
