Chipley Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient practice. Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care based on their diagnosis, goals, and functional limitations.
- Provide evidence-based treatment through therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, patient education, and other skilled physical therapy interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate to maximize outcomes.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Technicians to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care.
- Complete evaluations, daily documentation, progress reports, recertifications, and discharge summaries in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and family members on their condition, recovery process, and home exercise programs to support long-term success.
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that motivates patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Maintain compliance with all state licensing requirements, clinic policies, and professional standards of practice.
Skills
- Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within inpatient, outpatient, hospital, or home health environments
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices
- Skilled in treatment plan development for various conditions such as musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, or post-surgical rehabilitation
- Familiarity with outpatient clinic experience and outpatient rehabilitation center protocols
- Ability to manage clinical documentation standards efficiently using EMR systems and electronic health records (EHR) platforms
- Expertise in discharge planning processes and working with geriatric patients or pediatric populations
- Excellent client communication skills to educate patients on treatment procedures and promote adherence to care plans
