Job purpose
CPS America is a leading and fast growing energy solutions provider serving customers with award winning string inverters and cost effective solutions for C&I and utility-scale solar PV applications. CPS continues to be the USA market leader for 3-phase string inverters with over 6 GW shipped for the US market. CPS has a team of service, sales, operations and applications engineers distributed across North America. We are seeking an experienced ESS Product Manager to work in the strategic development and implementation of our C&I and Utility Scale ESS solutions. As an ESS Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our energy storage solutions, driving product enhancements, and ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the market. Your expertise will contribute to the growth and success of our energy storage business segment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product team to execute the roadmap for C&I and utility scale ESS, considering market trends, customer requirements, and technology advancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D engineering, product team, marketing to define product specifications, features, and functionalities.
- Lead the full product life cycle, from concept ideation and design to launch, optimization, and eventual end-of-life decisions.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and market gaps for ESS products.
- Establish strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and gathering feedback to guide product improvements.
- Develop comprehensive product documentation, including user manuals, specifications, and technical guides.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies in the energy storage space.
