What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chassis prep position at Chinook RV?
Job duties consist but not limited to the following:
· Positioning parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements
· Assembling components by connections and fastening parts
· Install stabilizer jacks
· Install suspensions
· Possessing basic mechanic knowledge
· Ability to follow instruction and work independently
· Detail-oriented
· Ability to use ladders and hoist
· Safety is top priority- Must be able to follow all safety procedures and regulations
· Work with power tools
· Bend, stoop, stand for duration of shift
· Lift up to 75lbs
· Some welding knowledge- aluminum and steel
Experience / Knowledge:
- Mechanic knowledge
- Welding knowledge, but not required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Job Requirements:
- 10 hr days, Monday - Thursday
- Attention to detail
- Prioritize work load based on company needs
- Ability to work independent and carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instruction
- Ability to work on team projects and carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instruction
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
