Job Overview
We’re looking for an organized and motivated Project Coordinator to join our construction team! In this role, you’ll help keep projects running smoothly by supporting communication, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination. You’ll work closely with the team to make sure everything stays on track and on time, while helping manage project details and documentation. This is a paid position and a great opportunity to build your project management skills while working alongside experienced professionals in the industry.
Duties
- Assist in developing detailed project schedules using construction management software's and websites, ensuring all phases are accurately mapped out and deadlines are met
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and information flow throughout the project lifecycle
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure alignment with project scope and specifications
- Support the preparation of construction estimates
- Track project progress through reports and updateing as needed
- Manage document control processes including submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, energy information forms
- Assist in maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements on construction sites
- Support contract administration activities by reviewing terms, tracking deliverables, and ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency with computers, software, typing, answering phones
- Understanding of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling
- Experience reading blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of contracts management
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
- Effective communication skills for coordinating among diverse teams
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols
- Ability to utilize project management tools for tracking progress and maintaining documentation accuracy
