Lateral transfers are defined as permanent unit members within the same classification, same number of hours and same work days. Per Article 10.1.2 of the CSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement, unit members shall have first consideration for the vacancy. Current employees interested in applying for the same classification position at a different location with the same number of hours and same work days, must complete an application through Ed-Join. Please follow the steps below:
• Submit an Ed-Join application for the desired position.
• Complete all required fields on the application.
• Check "Yes" to the lateral transfer question on the application.
• Document uploads are not required for current employees who meet the lateral transfer criteria.
• However, if the Ed-Join system prompts you to upload a document in order to proceed, upload a blank document (e.g. PDF, Word, blank white paper) to satisfy the system requirement

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) letters of recommendation - must be signed and dated within the last 24 months. Only wet signatures and e-signatures will be accepted; names typed out in a stylized font will not be accepted as a signature. Letters from relatives are not acceptable.)
