Requirements / Qualifications

All Nutrition Services Professional are 181 work days per year. Cal Aero Preserve Academy, 12 months per year, 3 hours per day, hours: Monday through Friday 7 AM to 10 AM.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS/ATTACHMENTS: * Two (2) letters of recommendation - must be signed and dated within the last 24 months. Only wet signatures and e-signatures will be accepted; names typed out in a stylized font will not be accepted as a signature. Letters from relatives are not acceptable. * High School diploma or its equivalent. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: An offer of employment in this classification is contingent upon passing a physical examination AND obtaining a San Bernardino County Food Handler Card. REQUIREMENTS: Basic kitchen skills. Experience in kitchen work and serving.. Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade, preferably supplemented by courses in cafeteria management, safety and sanitation, and related subjects. Lateral transfers are defined as permanent unit members within the same classification, same number of hours and same work days. Per Article 10.1.2 of the CSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement, unit members shall have first consideration for the vacancy. Current employees interested in applying for the same classification position at a different location with the same number of hours and same work days, must complete an application through Ed-Join.
