Chino Valley Unified School District believes that it is impossible to have exemplary schools without exemplary leaders. Therefore, we are seeking an interim principal for Chino Valley High School for the 2025-2026 school year with a proven track record of success.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The school Principal serves as the educational leader, responsible for managing the policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe learning environment that meets the State approved standards and mission of the District.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and promote high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance and responsibility for behavior.
- Carries out policies, regulations and requirements of the Governing Board, the Superintendent and/or his/her designee.
- Provides leadership that will result in an academically challenging, orderly, positive learning environment.
- Establishes and maintains procedures for the resolution of conflict in an effort to maintain a high level of staff morale.
- Screens, selects, directs and evaluates performance of certificated and classified personnel.
- Monitoring physical plant and related systems to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment and maintain compliance with state rules and regulations for building maintenance.
- Maintains a commitment to ongoing growth in self and others, supporting and participating in District and site professional growth programs.
- Develops and coordinates a school schedule that meets student’s needs and adheres to the district guidelines.
- Evaluates expenditure requisitions and allocates instructional supply, material and equipment funds appropriately.
- Assists the school community and the public in their awareness of the site goals and objectives and the strategies for achieving them.
QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Arizona Principal Certificate.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in educational administration, instructional technology or a closely related field.
- 10 years of administrative experience preferred.
