Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for Mandarin Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Extracurricular Teachers (Chinese Music, Painting, Calligraphy, Dance, Martial Arts, and Chinese Arts & Crafts) at the Chinese Language School of Southern California, located in Los Angeles, CA. The school operates on Saturdays from 8:45am - 11:45am. The Mandarin Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering lesson plans, instructing students in Chinese language and culture, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff. The Mandarin Teacher will also be involved in planning and participating in school events and activities to enhance the learning experience. Teaching Assistants will assist teachers with curriculum delivery and classroom management. Extracurricular Teachers will teach class after school from 11:55am-12:45pm.

Qualifications
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Education
- Strong Communication skills and ability to collaborate with parents and staff
- Fluency in Chinese
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Chinese Language, or related field is a plus
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Prior teaching experience is a plus
