Part-Time Bookkeeper with QB experience
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week, with up to 20 hours during busier periods

Chinese Culture Connection (CCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cross cultural understanding, leadership development, and community engagement through cultural, educational, and civic programs.
Position Overview
CCC is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our financial operations and help ensure
sound financial practices. This role is ideal for a person with deep knowledge of QuickBooks. Candidate could be a retired CPA or accountant who would like to stay active, contribute their expertise, and remain connected to the community without the pressure of a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Operations
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks accounting software
- Record and reconcile financial transactions
- Issue invoices and track incoming payments
- Process payments and reimbursements
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure payroll records are accurate
- Maintain organized financial documentation and receipts
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Support budget tracking and provide financial summaries for leadership or the board
- Provide occasional guidance on nonprofit financial management
- Assist with preparation for annual tax filings or financial review when needed
- Maintain confidentiality of financial records
Qualifications
- Background in bookkeeping or accounting
- Experience with QuickBooks accounting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Interest in supporting community-based nonprofit work
- Experience with small organizations a plus
Compensation
$30–$50 per hour, depending on experience.
Flexible schedule.
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
