Position Overview
The Chinese Culture Connection (CCC) is seeking a motivated and dedicated Youth Program Coordinator to lead and support our youth programs. The ideal candidate is outgoing, trustworthy, flexible, and highly organized, with a passion for community service and youth empowerment. This role requires someone who can take initiative, manage multiple projects, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan and implement youth programs, workshops, and community events.
· Act as the face of CCC at events organized by both external and prospective partners.
- Help recruit volunteers, manage program logistics, and evaluate program outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor youth participants, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, schools, and families.
- Track program participation, evaluate outcomes, and write reports
- Assist with grant search and writing to support youth initiatives.
- Assist with outreach, marketing, and social media.
- Support organizational events, community meetings, and workshops
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Support fundraising and community initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, youth development, social work, or related field.
- Experience with youth or community programs preferred.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Flexible, organized, able to multitask and manage multiple projects.
- Quick learner and computer-savvy (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, social media).
- Ability to work with diverse audiences and age groups.
- Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
