What are the responsibilities and job description for the Acupuncture Assistant position at Chinese Acupuncture Clinic?
We are a long standing 5 Practitioner Acupuncture Clinic located on Montford Avenue in Asheville, NC.
We are seeking a dependable, positive and team-supportive individual who will be assisting a Licensed Acupuncturist at our local Acupuncture Clinic. Our ideal candidate has exceptional customer service skills, is organized, able to multi-task, and is dedicated to providing compassionate care to our patients.
You will learn how to assist Acupuncturists in caring for patients with a wide variety of health issues. This position will be 3 to 4 days per week. Any experience in a healing or medical environment is a plus, but is not required.
If you are compassionate attentive and have clear and caring communication skills, we would like to consider you for this position.
You must have reliable transportation. Clinic hours are Monday- Friday 8:30am - 6:30 pm with some days starting or ending later.
We are looking for someone who can start right away.
Duties Include:
ACUPUNCTURIST ASSISTANT
- Greet patients and guests, show them to their treatment rooms
- Cleaning and changing over treatment rooms between patients.
- Notifying Practitioners of patient arrivals or changes in schedule
- Aiding in various Chinese Medicine modalities recommended by Practitioners
- Blending herbal prescriptions
- Stocking and maintaining herb room
- Keeping treatment rooms organized and stocked
- Provide outstanding care and service to patients
