Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Perform a wide range of construction-related tasks including blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and precise measurements to support project planning and execution.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to assist with framing, roofing, concrete finishing, masonry, and other construction activities.
• Assist with installation of fixtures such as cabinetry, glass, doors, flooring, tile, trim carpentry, stucco, plastering, and caulking to meet project specifications.
• Conduct inspections on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements; document findings accurately.
• Support construction management by preparing estimates using construction estimating techniques and maintaining detailed records of work progress.
• Collaborate with team members on restoration projects, hardscape installation, welding tasks, and fabrication activities to ensure seamless project flow.
• Use Bluebeam or similar digital tools for reviewing plans, marking up drawings, and managing project documentation efficiently.
• Assist in the operation of heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and materials; adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site work with a strong understanding of construction processes including blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation.
• Knowledge of various trades such as carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry (concrete forming, concrete finishing), roofing, glazing (glass installation), flooring (tile laying), painting (construction painting), welding, plumbing, electrical work, and restoration is highly desirable.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with Bluebeam software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of performing precise measurements and quality inspections.
• Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks on-site including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Effective communication skills; ability to work well within a team environment while following safety guidelines diligently.
• Construction site experience is essential; prior experience in remodeling or hardscape projects is advantageous.
• Valid certifications related to construction safety or equipment operation are preferred but not mandatory.
