About the Role
Join the Chimney Cricket & Hometown Hearth team as an Installer / Technician Apprentice and help deliver high-quality fireplace and chimney solutions to homeowners across the region. Whether you're an experienced installer or looking to build a skilled trade career, we offer hands-on training, growth opportunities, and a great team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and service fireplaces, stoves, and chimney systems
- Assist with chimney inspections, sweeps, repairs, and masonry work
- Maintain tools, job site cleanliness, and safety protocols
- Document work and customer interactions using CRM tools
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Learn and apply industry standards and best practices
- Work toward CSIA certification within your first 90 days
- Experience in chimney, HVAC, masonry, or related trades preferred
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various conditions
- Able to lift heavy materials and use hand/power tools
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and customer service
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to learn and grow through structured training
- Experienced installers may be eligible for higher wages
