Career Support Systems (CSS), a Chimes affiliate, is seeking compassionate and dependable Job Coaches to help individuals with disabilities obtain and maintain meaningful employment throughout the Staunton and Harrisonburg Corridor and surrounding communities.
As a Job Coach, you'll provide one-on-one coaching, workplace training, and encouragement that empowers individuals to build confidence, gain independence, and succeed on the job. If you're passionate about helping others and want a career with purpose, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Provide individualized job coaching and on-site workplace support.
- Teach job-specific skills and reinforce workplace expectations.
- Document daily activities and participant progress.
- Build positive relationships with employers, coworkers, and supported employees.
- Partner with the Lead Employment Consultant to ensure successful employment outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with families, employers, and members of the support team.
- Collaborate with community organizations, schools, and vocational rehabilitation agencies.
- Prepare accurate verbal and written progress reports.

Qualifications:
- Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook and Word).
- Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
