What are the responsibilities and job description for the AI Solutions Lead position at Chimera Technologies Private Limited?
Chimera Technologies is a technology services and AI consulting organization that designs, builds, and operates enterprise-scale AI agent platforms — including the underlying agentic framework, the individual agents built on it, and the observability and support layer that keeps both running reliably in production. We work with US clients primarily in Insurance and Pharma, and we are entering a phase of rapid growth around agentic AI delivery.
One of our flagship engagements is with a leading innovator in its industry that is using our agentic platform to automate a broad swath of its business processes — with thousands of agents expected to run in production across the enterprise. This is not a pilot; it is a large, business-critical program that will only grow in scope and complexity. This role is created to lead that engagement end-to-end, on the ground, from our Indianapolis presence.
Role Summary
The AI Solutions Lead will own the solutioning and delivery of our agentic AI platform for a major enterprise client. This is a hands-on, technically credible, client-facing leadership role that sits between the client's business teams and Chimera's engineering and platform teams.
The incumbent will:
• Work directly with the client's business teams to identify, prioritize, and reimagine business processes that can be automated with AI agents
• Translate those opportunities into scoped, estimated, and sequenced delivery plans on Chimera's agentic platform
• Lead delivery of agents and agentic workflows into production at scale — eventually thousands of agents running across the enterprise
• Partner with Chimera's platform, agent-engineering, and observability teams to ensure the framework itself scales, performs, and is well-supported
• Build the account into a long-term, trusted, innovation-led partnership rather than a one-off delivery engagement
This role requires someone equally comfortable in a business process workshop with client stakeholders and in a technical design review with engineers — young in outlook, sharp on technology, and fluent in the client's industry context.
Why This Role Matters
- This is one of the largest and most strategic agentic AI programs Chimera is running
- Success here becomes the reference case for how Chimera sells and delivers agentic transformation to other enterprise clients
- Agentic AI at this scale is new territory for most enterprises — the client is relying on Chimera's judgment, not just execution
- The role directly shapes program scope, delivery quality, client trust, and the long-term size of the account
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Process Reimagination & Agentic Solutioning
- Partner with client business teams across functions to map current-state processes and identify high-value automation opportunities
- Reimagine those processes for an agent-driven operating model, not just a like-for-like automation of existing steps
- Translate business requirements into agent designs, workflows, and integration points on Chimera's agentic platform
- Own solution estimation — effort, timelines, staffing, and cost — for new agent builds and platform expansions
2. Delivery & Program Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of agents and agentic workflows from design through production deployment
- Manage a large, cross-functional team spanning agent engineering, platform engineering, QA, and support
- Ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery as the program scales toward thousands of agents in production
- Establish delivery governance, sprint cadences, and release practices suited to an agentic (not just traditional software) delivery model
3. Agent & Platform Operations Oversight
- Work closely with Chimera's platform team, since the organization builds, observes, and supports both the individual agents and the agentic framework itself
- Ensure agent performance, reliability, and observability standards are met as agent volume grows
- Escalate and help resolve platform-level issues that affect multiple agents or business processes
- Feed field learnings back into platform and framework roadmap decisions
4. Client Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary day-to-day leadership contact for the client's business and technology stakeholders
- Run governance reviews, steering committee updates, and roadmap discussions with client leadership
- Build trust as an innovation partner who understands the client's industry and business, not just a delivery vendor
- Proactively identify and pitch new automation opportunities within the account
5. Team & Talent Enablement
- Build and scale the delivery team required to support a program of this size, in partnership with HR and Talent Acquisition
- Mentor engineers and delivery managers on agentic delivery practices, client communication, and ownership mindset
- Build a strong leadership bench capable of running individual workstreams within the broader program
6. Executive Presence & Industry Fluency
- Represent Chimera confidently in client business reviews, workshops, and executive discussions
- Stay current on the client's industry, competitive landscape, and business priorities
- Stay current on agentic AI, LLM, and automation trends, and translate them into practical relevance for the client
Desired Profile & Qualifications
- 8–14 years of experience in technology delivery, solutioning, or consulting, ideally including AI/GenAI or agentic-workflow programs
- Strong technical grounding — able to engage credibly with engineers on agent design, architecture, and platform tradeoffs
- Demonstrated experience translating business processes into technical solutions, including scoping and estimation
- Experience leading delivery teams at scale, ideally across distributed or offshore-onshore models
- Comfortable working directly with enterprise business stakeholders, not only IT counterparts
- Exposure to Insurance, Pharma, or another regulated enterprise domain is a plus
- Hands-on familiarity with modern AI/agent tooling (e.g., LLM orchestration frameworks, agent frameworks) preferred
- Strong communication and executive presence; able to run a room with both business and technical audiences
- Willing and able to work full-time from Chimera's Indianapolis office, all working days
