What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA Transport Driver position at ChildWay Pediatric Services?
ChildWay Pediatric Services is a non profit, inpatient medical facility located in Lansdale, PA that specializes in supporting the needs of children who are technologically dependent and medically fragile. We are a personalized, home-like setting providing individualized care to meet the special medical needs of each child exclusively.
ChildWay is searching for a full-time Personal Care Assistant(PCA) or Medical Transport Driver that can take our children on various medical appointments throughout the region. Appointments are mainly located at CHOP, St. Christopher and Lehigh Valley Hospital. Flexibility is very important with this position. When not Transporting you will be scheduled on the floor. The direct Supervisor is the Lead Transport.
Job Requirements
- On Site
- Experience with medical transport
- Experience with patient care
- Clean Motor Vehicle record
- CPR and First required
- Must be 21 of age
- Must have Driver's License and Car
- Clean Criminal, FBI, and Child Abuse background checks.
- High School Diploma or CNA certification (CNA certification not required, training is provided)
- Willingness to work with children.
- Willingness to work at all locations.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.
