What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at ChildStrive?

- Salary Range:$21.89 - $25.00/hr
- This position will support the Human Resources Department with a wide range of duties, which requires an understanding of most HR functions. Supports the agency in several areas of HR, including leave administration, compensation and benefits, recruitment and employee records. Adhere to agency policies and procedures while ensuring the agency is in compliance with applicable contracts, laws, and regulations.
- Human Resources experience or related education.
- Must have the ability to work collaboratively and independently to resolve concerns by using judgment that is consistent with our culture and values.
- Knowledge of employment laws including FLSA, ADA, Workers Compensation, FMLA/WPFML/Pregnancy Disability, HIPAA.
- Ability to adapt, learn and grow to respond to the needs of the agency or changes in regulations.
- Must possess strong ethics and integrity.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Must possess a valid WA state drivers license, have state required minimum automobile insurance, and be able to use own vehicle on the job.

- Early Support for Infants and Toddlers serves families with children birth to three years of age who have a developmental delay or identified disability.
- Nurse Family Partnershipserves first time pregnant women through pregnancy and until their child turns two years of age.
- Parents as Teachersserve families who are pregnant or have a young child who are living with trauma or chronic hardships, including housing instability or poverty.
- Community Outreach serves families with preschoolers who are homeless and living in shelters or who are isolated and lack support. The Outreach program also partners with the Tulalip Tribes and provides consultation services to childcare providers serving families in transitional housing.
- ECEAP (Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program) is a high-quality preschool and family development program for underserved families in partnership with Snohomish County and the State of Washington.

Salary : $22 - $25
