How You’ll Make an Impact
- Oversee daily home operations, including on‑call duties, safety, supplies, budgeting, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, billing requirements, and implement improvements based on audits.
- Build positive, age‑appropriate interactions with children/young adults and lead care planning with families and interdisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate with therapists and other professionals to ensure care needs, equipment, and services are provided.
- Hire, train, coach, and support staff; oversee scheduling, manage overtime, and ensure high‑quality care through observations and retraining.
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field; meets QIDP qualifications.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship‑building abilities.
- Skilled in decision‑making, prioritization, and maintaining professionalism in changing environments.
- Ability to follow policies and regulatory guidelines; proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new software; maintains confidentiality and works effectively with diverse populations.
