- Occupational Health & Compliance Oversight: Lead organizational occupational health programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Partner with leaders, safety teams, HR, and committees to assess effectiveness, recommend improvements, and support staff and visitor safety initiatives.
- Clinical Programs Management: Oversee staff vaccination, communicable disease, and drug/alcohol testing programs, including policy guidance, clinic coordination, vendor management, recordkeeping, reporting, and outbreak mitigation in collaboration with Infection Prevention and Care Quality teams.
- Leave Administration & Case Management: Administer organization‑wide FMLA and ADA programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective processes, leader education, and end‑to‑end case management to closure.
- Safety and Wellness: Conduct assessments and support case management for staff workplace injuries, analyze injury trends, and ensure compliance with drug safety requirements, including oversight of drug testing protocols, diversion prevention, and related policies. Maintain infection prevention and OSHA‑required programs such as bloodborne pathogen and respiratory protection. Support staff wellness initiatives through committee participation, biometric screenings, and clinical consultation.
- Training: Serve as a compassion satisfaction and trauma-informed care expert; provide training and assistance with program development as requested. Train staff on topics such as: staff clinical safety (ex. handwashing), clinical safety (ex. heart saver, CPR, first aid, etc.).
- BA/BS in Nursing
- Current valid license as a RN
- Five years nursing experience, occupational health nursing preferred
- Ability to travel independently within the state for business events
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office, and ability to proficiently learn new software programs
- Ability to develop, interpret, and follow applicable policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand
- Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading, writing and speaking the English language
