What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN Evening Team Lead (Full-Time) position at ChildServe?
The Clinical Team Lead directly responsible for ensuring the clinical needs of each child are implemented by supporting a multidisciplinary team approach to clinical care. The Clinical team Lead is also directly responsible for ensuring sufficient numbers of qualified staff are engaged in their work and are participating effectively as a team in the delivery of care. This position works in collaboration with families, and other multidisciplinary team members to meet each child’s needs. Provide direct care as needed.

- M-F evening hours
- Within the nursing scope of practice and physician’s orders, responsible for ensuring the implementation of each child’s care plan and for achieving the goals set forth in that care plan and ensuring clinical care is implemented according to best practices as defined by ChildServe policy and practice manuals.
- Responsible for ensuring care is documented accurately, completely, and timely as defined by nursing standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures and provides feedback to leadership on how the documentation system can be improved while also ensuring that each document of the clinical record is identified according to regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for working with Scheduling Specialist ensuring adequate numbers of qualified staff to meet the needs of children.
- Responsible for ensuring staff are equipped to provide care; assigned staff are engaged in their work and that they are appropriately developed.
- Responsible for ensuring environment is maintained according to regulatory requirements.
- Monitors house operational budget. Works collaboratively with QIDP, LTC Nurse Manager, and/or Inpatient Director on budgetary issues.
- Supervise the team through effective hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Ensure development of staff to achieve high results. Promote engagement and satisfaction to drive retention. Collaborate with management team to identify opportunities for improvement.
- All other duties assigned.
- Must be able to pass a ChildServe physical examination at commencement of employment and thereafter as regulations require.
- Be able to withstand exposure to the usual childhood diseases and conditions associated with children with disabilities.
- Lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
- Maneuver within the physical work environment with some bending, stooping, reaching and light lifting.
- Maintain a calm demeanor in an environment that can change quickly with elevated behaviors and different demands.
- Ability to focus on details for long periods of time with regular interruptions.
- Work onsite with regular and predictable attendance.
