What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA/CMA Nights Pediatric Complex Medical Care (Full Time) position at ChildServe?
Join our compassionate team in our inpatient Pediatric Complex Medical program, where we provide around-the-clock care in a warm, family-centered environment. We support infants through age 14 who are unable to live at home due to their complex medical need , helping each child thrive in a safe and caring setting.

Schedule
- 3 shifts per week , 6:00pm-6:30 am, every 3rd weekend
- Benefit eligible , including medical, dental, vision plans, retirement with company match and generous PTO accrual , including 16 hours of PTO front-loaded
- Assist with daily care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while honoring each child’s privacy and dignity.
- Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure each child’s unique needs are met.
- Help children look and feel their best by maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and readiness for scheduled activities.
- Support families by sharing updates and reinforcing care techniques that promote each child’s progress and well-being.
- Accurately document care provided and maintain compliance with ChildServe policies and professional standards.
- Active DIA certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Iowa .
- Certified Medication Aid preferred
- Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs , be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand .
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language .
