Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Toddler Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Pawtucket, RI. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with toddlers and a strong background in early childhood development. As a Toddler Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports the growth and development of young children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for toddlers.
• Provide a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
• Observe and assess each child's development and communicate progress with parents and staff.
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities.
• Maintain daily records, including attendance, meals, and behavior reports.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
• Follow all licensing and regulatory requirements for childcare centers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a toddler teacher or in a similar early childhood education role.
• Knowledge of toddler development and best teaching practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Relevant early childhood education credentials or certifications.
