Overview
The Contract Analyst is responsible for the review and processing of designated contracts in accordance with the Hospital's Contract Review and Approval Policy, as assigned by the Senior Vice President/General Counsel or the Senior Counsel—Operations. In performing this function, the incumbent will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure business needs for contracts are clearly understood and accurately. In coordination with applicable departments and stakeholders, the internal and external legal counsel, and other external resources, the incumbent is responsible for preparing and negotiating designated contracts, obtaining execution thereof, and other responsibilities under the Contract Review and Approval Policy.

Responsibilities
- Manage contract lifecycle process for designated contracts. Assists department stakeholders in the process of managing new contract requests, renewals, renegotiations, amendments, terminations and other actions.
- For designated contracts, works with operational owners and accounting functions as appropriate to monitor compliance with compensation and operational terms for designated contracts. Serves as a resource for accurate interpretation of operational terms.
- Performs research and other tasks as assigned by the Office of the General Counsel/Risk Management.
- Bachelor's Degree Required and 5-7 years experience Experience developing and implementing systems and processes. Highly analytical. Experience in drafting and interpreting complex contract language, and basic understanding of healthcare terminology and operations. Experience developing database tools and reporting
- Master's Degree Preferred
- Paralegal Certificate preferred
