Job Overview
The Financial Analyst, within Clinical Research develops, negotiates and manages complex research budgets and conducts ongoing financial tracking, reporting, analyses and presentation to multiple internal and external leaders, customers and other stakeholders.

Essential Functions
Conducts complex research budgeting and accounting functions, including the gathering, analyzing and presentation of financial information, as well as interpretation of data and recommendations for action.
Develops and negotiates clinical trial budgets with multiple leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Builds and maintains strong partnerships with internal and external leaders and stakeholders, with a strong focus on customer service and continuous quality improvement.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Financial Accountability: a -Responsible for personal use of resources, supplies and materials, tracking personal spending and submitting accurate expense reports.
Judgment: b -Sets priorities for own work within overall guidelines; manages own workflow in cooperation with others.
Qualifications
EDUCATION – Required Education Field of Study: business administration, management, accounting or related field. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in business administration or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE – 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting, including experience with accounting systems, preferably PeopleSoft; Clinical research experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
EQUIVALENCY - Bachelor's Degree in an unrelated field of study will be considered with relevant experience.

Salary Information
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $65,969.44 to $98,954.16
Hourly Salary Range: $31.72 to $47.57
