Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Coverage/Break Teacher who holds an EEC (Early Education and Care) certification to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This role is vital in providing seamless coverage for classrooms during staff breaks, and afternoons, ensuring that every child receives consistent, high-quality care throughout the day. Duties
- Provide immediate classroom coverage during scheduled breaks and end of staff shifts.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to provide support.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management strategies to create a safe and supportive environment.
- Engage with children aligned with childhood development standards.
- Communicate with team members regarding children's behavior, and classroom objectives.
Requirements
- Valid EEC certification demonstrating compliance with state early childhood education standards.
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing classroom needs while maintaining a lively and motivating atmosphere.
