Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental team. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist with various clinical procedures, ensure the smooth operation of the dental office, and help create a welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
• Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Support pediatric patients with care tailored to their needs, ensuring a comfortable experience.

Skills

• Proficient in dental terminology and procedures related to dental assisting.
• Experience with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients of all ages, especially in pediatrics.
• Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance productivity during procedures.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
