Why does the job exist?
Incumbent is responsible for managing the daily operation of the Grant and Catron, County Protective Services field offices, acting accordingly with the mission and vision of the agency, as well as utilizing Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process in practice to achieve positive outcomes. The primary function is to monitor and supervise all functions of the local county office regarding programs, policies, procedures, service delivery, budget and personnel.How does it get done?

Minimum Qualification
Master's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of experience in the management and direct provision of child welfare services, policy and procedure writing, and program research and development. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in child welfare totaling ten (10) years may substitute for the required education and experience.Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results.Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting: late hours, weekends, on-call and callback work may be required. Will be exposed to regular periods of video display terminal and keyboard usage and stressful situations. Travel may be required. Possible exposure to irate clientele.
