Educational Aide/Mental Health Worker

Purpose of this position: 

Children’s Service Center is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well collectively as a treatment team member. If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to learn, the Educational Aide/Mental Health Worker is right for you. Join our team of employees at our Partial Program to experience the positivity of helping change young people’s lives. You will be trained to provide services to youth while supporting the teacher in a classroom setting. This position will report to the Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide therapeutic support to emotionally disturbed and/or exceptional students
• Provide individual attention to children in a classroom setting on an as-needed basis
• Help reinforce what is taught and remediate when requested by the teacher or a student; provide assistance to the teach and function as associates (aides)
• Assists the teacher with administering/grading classroom tests
