Position Summary:
Conducts adoptive family home studies for children in foster care needing adoptive placement through state contracted program; and adoptive home studies for families searching for an adoptive placement as well as foster parents wishing to convert a child's current placement in their home from foster to adoptive. Provides case management services such as preparing the child and family for adoption. Prepares necessary paperwork including adoption assistance and court documents.

Position Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field preferred; or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field with two years post degree experience required.
- Previous child welfare experience required. Wisconsin social work license is preferred.
- Family adoption experience preferred.
- Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds preferred.
- Valid State of Wisconsin driver's license is required. Must use personal vehicle to transport children, complete in-house car seat transporter training within one month of hire and re-train biannually thereafter to maintain. Travel to designated counties for home visits and court appearances.
