Position Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This part-time position offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to expand to full-time as the practice grows. The ideal candidate will specialize in pediatric feeding and sensory therapy, providing high-quality, individualized care to children in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pediatric occupational therapy services focusing on feeding and sensory needs.
- Deliver interventions primarily for children with minimal fine motor requirements.
- Work collaboratively with families to implement therapy plans and achieve goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies.
- Participate in on-the-job training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), pediatric experience preferred.
- Valid license to practice in Michigan.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their developmental progress.
