Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Madison, WI, for an Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and execute therapy sessions tailored to address the functional, sensory, and developmental needs of children. In this role, you will collaborate with families and caregivers, provide education and training, and document progress in treatment plans. You will also work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care plans that align with each child's goals, aiming to improve their quality of life and participation in daily activities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices, including therapy planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Knowledge of pediatric medicine and developmental rehabilitation strategies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with families and healthcare professionals effectively
- Experience working with children, especially those with developmental or sensory challenges, is preferred
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Compassionate, patient-centered, and dedicated to working in a family-inclusive model of care
- Certified in CPR and First Aid (preferred)
