Role Description This full-time, on-site Pediatric Physical Therapist role is based in Ventura, CA. The therapist will assess motor skills and functional mobility, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services to children with a variety of developmental and physical needs. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support goals across home and clinic environments. The role also involves documenting evaluations and progress notes, educating families on home exercise programs, and incorporating play-based, child-friendly activities into sessions. Occasional in-home visits may be part of the position to support therapy in natural environments.

Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or eligible for licensure in California; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent required.
- Experience in pediatric physical therapy, including evaluation and treatment of children with developmental delays, neuromuscular conditions, and orthopedic needs.
- Strong skills in family-centered care, caregiver education, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to design and implement play-based, functional interventions in clinic and home settings.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
- Comfort working in a variety of environments, including family homes, and engaging with therapy animals as part of treatment.
- CPR/First Aid certification and familiarity with safety and infection control practices.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for potential home-based visits.
