Children’s Theatre of Charlotte seeks an extremely confident, personable, reliable and kind individual to serve as an ambassador to our patrons. House managers are responsible for controlling the front of house, ensuring that our audience has a safe, relaxed and pleasant experience in the theatre. Our house managers will work closely with Stage Managers, Volunteer Ushers, Security and Library Staff to coordinate all front of house activity.
House Managers are able to work a variety of shifts based on availability. Shifts are as follows:
Shows for School Audiences
Weekday mornings - 8:30 am - 2:00 pm (generally there are not shows on Mondays)
Public Shows
Fridays: 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Sundays: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Wage: $15.00 an hour

Responsibilities and Duties...
- Prepare all front of house reports.
- Maintains front of house operations preparing theatre and front lobby to be tidy, organized, secure and welcoming.
- Manage and supervise volunteer ushers, working closely alongside stage management, box office, security and ImaginOn Library staff.
