Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday - Friday.
Summary:
The PACS Assistant is responsible for the distribution of DICOM Images and Imaging Results to all Children’s of Alabama customers (patient, parents, physicians and other clinical staff.) This position will serve as first level support to the system users and will subsequently communicate issues to the PACS Administrator(s). This resource will provide daily operational support to system users. This resource will be a primary contact in the radiology department for media import/export. This position will demonstrate the ability to work independently.
The PACS Assistant must possess good trouble shooting, communication, customer service and organizational skills. They must have a firm commitment to quality and must demonstrate personal traits of a high level of trust, innovation, team collaboration, compassion for employees, patients and families, commitment to children, motivation, professionalism, and place a high value on treating others with dignity and respect.

Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office experience to include Excel and Word.
