Role Description
This is a contract role for a Pediatric Neuropsychologist based on-site in Slingerlands, NY. The candidate will conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, analyze assessment data, and prepare detailed reports with tailored recommendations. Collaboration with families, physicians, therapists, and educational professionals is a critical component of the role, alongside conducting consultations to support treatment and educational planning. The role may also involve participation in clinical team meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Expertise in neuropsychological assessments, case conceptualization, and report writing
- Experience with a wide range of developmental, neurological, and medical conditions, such as learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and traumatic brain injuries
- Strong skills in communication and collaboration with parents, educators, and medical professionals
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, or a related field
- Valid licensure or licensure-eligibility in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology in New York State
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and familiarity with educational law and systems is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to provide culturally sensitive care and work effectively with diverse populations
