Prerequisite for training:
- Must have completed 3 years of Cardiac Surgery Residency in an approved training program before August 1, 2025.
- Additional pediatric cardiac surgery experience (preferred).
- Must have three (3) letters of recommendations from training program.
- Must have completed medical school in the U.S. or Canada or be ECFMG certified if an international medical graduate.
- Must be successfully able to obtain a District of Columbia medical license prior to starting fellowship training.
- Must have successfully passed all three steps of the USMLE.
