Museum Floor Associate / Play Facilitator

About the Role
As a Museum Floor Associate, you’ll be the face of the museum experience — welcoming guests, engaging children in hands-on activities, helping maintain exhibits, and creating a warm, playful atmosphere for families.
No two days are the same! One moment you may be leading a craft activity, helping launch scarves through an air cannon, or dancing along at a special event — the next you could be assisting guests, resetting exhibits, or helping keep the museum clean and organized.
Responsibilities
- Engage and interact positively with children and families
- Facilitate hands-on exhibits and activities
- Help maintain a fun, safe, and welcoming environment
- Assist with crafts, educational programs, birthday parties, and special events
- Keep exhibit areas clean, stocked, and organized throughout the day
- Answer guest questions and provide excellent customer service
- Encourage imaginative play and learning experiences
- Support museum operations as part of a collaborative team

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time / Seasonal for Summer
Pay: Based on experience
Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
Educational/Work Requirements: High school diploma required, experience working with children and families heavily preferred.
