Department Overview The Interpretive Services department facilitates effective communication in health care across linguistic and cultural differences,. Professional ASL, Hmong, Laotian, Somali, and Spanish interpretors are on staff and provide services 24 hours-a-day, 7-days a week for patients at Children's. Position Summary The Interpreter Services Scheduler responds to all interpreter requests throughout the Children's Hospitals and Clinics system and coordinates delivery of interpreter services through a variety of resources. These resources include staff interpreters, outside contracted interpreters, and phone interpretation. Scheduler responsibilities also include office support, special projects, and implementation of service improvement measures.
Qualifications:
High School diploma. Strong customer service skills.
