Role Description This full-time Pediatric Pulmonologist role is an on-site position based in Kansas City, MO, Springfiel, MO, and Wichita KS. The Pediatric Pulmonologist will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for children with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including asthma, chronic lung disease, sleep-related breathing disorders, and complex pulmonary needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, interpreting diagnostic tests (such as pulmonary function tests and imaging), developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing follow-up care. The role also involves participating in multidisciplinary rounds in critical care and other hospital units, collaborating with specialists in allergy, critical care, and other pediatric disciplines. Additional expectations may include supervising trainees, contributing to clinical research or quality improvement initiatives, engaging in patient and family education, and participating in departmental and hospital committees as needed.

Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in Pediatric Pulmonology, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of complex respiratory conditions.
- Experience managing pediatric Asthma, including guideline-based care, patient education, and long-term disease management.
- Strong foundation in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology,, including care of children with respiratory failure or chronic ventilator dependence.
- Knowledge of Allergy-related conditions that intersect with pulmonary disease, and ability to collaborate with allergy/immunology specialists.
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology; completion of an accredited pediatric residency and pediatric pulmonology fellowship.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Missouri (and Kansas, if required for practice scope).
- Demonstrated commitment to patient- and family-centered care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and participation in academic, research, or quality improvement activities.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive clinical environment.
