Location: Onsite, Multiple locations in Stamford, CT
Job Type: Full-time; 35–40 hours weekly depending on location (schedules are typically early mornings to mid-afternoons).
Length of Work Year: 51 weeks
Salary Range: $18.50-20.00/hour (rates are based on education and total college credits specific to Early Childhood Education, as per union contract)

About the Role
- Assist in the implementation of a developmentally appropriate, engaging curriculum.
- Support classroom management and maintain the organization and cleanliness of materials.
- Observe and document children’s interests and progress.
- Support children’s hygiene and self-help skills through positive modeling.
- Partner and communicate regularly with families and caregivers.
- Help children transition smoothly into and out of the classroom environment.
- Follow all CLC policies and state childcare regulations.
- Engage in professional development and pursue continuous improvement.
- Implement and annually review CLC operating policies, plans, and procedures.
Required Credentials
- Minimum: 12 college credits in ECE and/or CDA
- Preferred: ECE Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children ages 0–5.
- Familiarity with Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards or NAEYC-accredited programs.
- A growth mindset and willingness to pursue professional development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Levels of experience will be a key factor in candidate selection.
