Duties

- Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior and ensure safety for all children
- Support children with special needs through individualized strategies and early intervention techniques
- Foster social-emotional growth by encouraging communication, cooperation, and conflict resolution among students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare documentation for assessments or standardized testing
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support each child's unique learning journey
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and best practices in early childhood education
- Incorporate Montessori or other specialized educational approaches as appropriate to enhance learning experiences
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques and child welfare practices
- Familiarity with preschool experience, daycare settings, private schools, or Montessori methods
- Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Experience working with students on standardized testing or tutoring programs is a plus
- Knowledge of special education needs related to early intervention programs
- Skills in teaching physical education, literacy education, math, or other core subjects is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning styles and abilities
