Duties

• Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a calm, organized prepared Montessori environment.
• Engage with children during activities such as circle time, hands-on learning works, and outdoor play to promote their curiosity and development.
• Help keep classroom and materials clean, tidy and neat.
• Supervise children during transitions, meals, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers to observe individual student progress and support personalized learning strategies.
• Communicate effectively with children parents and staff to foster a supportive community focused on childhood growth.

Skills

• Experience working with children in childcare, Montessori preschool, or educational support roles.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods and childhood development.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to assist in behavior management strategies.
• Familiarity with curriculum development for literacy, math, and overall preschool education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to enhance student learning experiences.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus.
• Demonstrated understanding of childhood behavior management techniques in diverse classroom environments.
• Passion for nurturing young learners’ growth through engaging activities that support their social-emotional and academic development.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
