Job Overview

The Operations Coordinator supports and coordinates daily operations of the novel therapeutics program at Children’s Hospital Colorado. The Operations Coordinator works closely with clinical, research, and operational partners to facilitate communication, coordinate meetings and workstreams, track activities, and support operational processes.

The novel therapeutics program at Children’s Hospital Colorado provides the enterprise structure that supports the safe, scalable, and compliant delivery of advanced and complex therapeutics across inpatient and outpatient care settings. This program brings together clinical, research, and operational leaders to ensure high quality care, coordination of complex processes, and strong system stewardship for both investigational and FDA approved therapies. This innovative program positions Children’s Hospital Colorado as a national leader in the delivery of emerging therapeutic modalities.

Essential Functions

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

  • Utilizes, allocates, and manages resources to meet department, project, initiative and/or program needs.
  • Acts as a liaison and first point of contact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organizes and establishes meetings on regular basis with designated individuals impacted by the program, initiative and/or project to foster positive relationships and gather continuous feedback.
  • Provides administrative support by planning, directing, and coordinating the daily operational activities of the program, project and/or initiative.
  • Utilizes a variety of technologies, including databases and spreadsheets, to track and monitor outcomes, financials, data, and other information.
  • Compiles data and prepares reports and presentations; and participates in the communication of program, initiative, or project status and progress.
  • Assists in the development of short and long term plans and strategies for programs, monitors progress, assures adherence and evaluates performance.
  • Assists in the design of performance objectives and implements and monitors programming to meet desired outcomes.
  • Assists with the development and facilitation of training to address team member needs and identify relevant updates when needed.
  • Assists with the development of outreach plan(s) according to program needs and capacity.

Minimum Qualifications

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification

  • EDUCATION – High school diploma or equivalent.
  • EXPERIENCE – Two years of experience coordinating and supporting programs.
  • EQUIVALENCY – An Associate or higher degree, in a related field, may substitute for the experience requirements on a year for year basis.

  • PREFERENCES
  • Previous experience with:
  • Providing complex calendar and scheduling support or program leadership, including prioritizing meetings, coordinating across multiple workstreams, and ensuring alignment with operational and project timelines
  • Supporting a growing or evolving program or division, demonstrating adaptability and strong organizational skills
  • Supporting cross-functional initiatives by coordinating meetings, tracking action items, and facilitating follow-up across key stakeholders
  • Preparing and managing communications for operational programs, including drafting agendas, presentations, and written communications for internal audiences
  • Planning and coordinating meetings and events
  • Supporting project management activities
  • Serving as a central point of coordination for program operations, acting as a liaison between leaders, project teams, and internal and external stakeholders

Salary Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range: $24.48 to $36.72
