Degree alignment: Suitable for a MPH capstone or practicum.
Timeframe: January–early May 2027, with a late December 2026 start available if needed to meet practicum requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducting an environmental scan of regional initiatives addressing current and potential community health priorities.
- Developing an inventory of Children’s Colorado programs and initiatives supporting these priorities.
- Creating logic models that connect activities with intended health outcomes.
- Supporting the development of goals, objectives, and activities for one or more CHIS priority areas.
- Identifying meaningful outcome measures and practical data collection approaches to assess progress and impact throughout the CHIS cycle.
- Access to and hands-on experience with Metopio, a data exploration and visualization platform used to examine community health indicators, identify disparities, and inform priorities and outcome measures.
- Assists with project tasks, coordination, meeting preparation, and tracking progress to support departmental goals.
- Collects, enters, organizes, and verifies data; produces basic summaries, reports, or visuals as directed.
- Drafts, edits, and maintains process documentation, job aids, and forms, maintaining accuracy and version control.
- Conducts basic research or information-gathering activities and summarizes findings for team use.
- Provides general administrative support, including file management, communication drafts, and routine correspondence.
- Collaborates with team members, communicates and escalate questions or issues when needed.
- Follows established procedures, maintains confidentiality, and completes tasks with attention to detail and quality.
- Participates in continuous learning, applies feedback, and suggests simple improvements within scope.

- Current enrollment in college or an accredited program; or recent graduate from high school, college or an accredited program.
