Job Description

The Director, Technology-Dependent Services will oversee technology-dependent and hospital-based pulmonary operations. This director will have direct oversight of inpatient services (TICU, sleep, and apnea) and indirect oversight of outpatient services through dotted line relationship to the Clinical Operations Manager, CPG Pulmonology.

Experience

• 5 years healthcare experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with complex patient populations, especially technology-dependent
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field
• If RN, bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Master’s degree in business and/or healthcare-related field

Job Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic leadership and accountability for technology-dependent services.
• Develop departmental goals, metrics, and staffing models.
• Conduct strategic assessments and build strong business cases.
• Serve as an administrative partner to pulmonology medical directors.
• Partner with outpatient pulmonology leaders to improve care coordination.
• Benchmark with other healthcare institutions to learn best practices and benchmarks for technology-dependent services.
• Achieve department goals and expectations related to performance, employee engagement, and finance.
• Team and leader development; mentor staff on their performance, recognize individual and group contributions, and maintain an engaged team.
• Engagement and retention goals.
• Reach goals related to technology-dependent strategic imperatives.
