Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures and produce high quality diagnostic images; maintain consistent knowledge and skill levels to meet diagnostic evaluation expectations; complete documentation of all activities according to established criteria; and adhere to department / hospital policies, procedures and processes regarding quality improvement, safety, patient flow and other issues.
- Communicate and collaborate with other radiology staff and other departmental staff to facilitate optimum patient care; participate / cooperate with all other departmental / hospital processes and activities as appropriate.
- Participate in training programs to develop additional skills and / or enhance existing skills; obtain / maintain appropriate licensure and certification; participate in patient / student education as appropriate.
- Less than 1 year Minimum 6 months - 1 year of related experience Preferred
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Associates Degree Required
- Sonography-ARRT-2A-ARRT(S) Essential Excluding Maternal Fetal Med: Employee hired after 1/27/22 must have one of the following certifications active within 1 year from hire date. Current Vascular Registry with: 1. RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) by ARDMS American Registry of Diagnostic Medical sonography OR 2. RT(VS) (Vascular Sonographer) by ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists OR 3. RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) by CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Time Frame: 1 Year
- Vascular Sonographer-2A-ARRT(VS) Essential
- Reg Diagnostic Medical Sonographer-2A-RDMS Essential Current Ultrasound registry with ARDMS or ARRT - Time Frame: Upon Hire
- RDMS - Pediatric Sonography-2A-RDMS(PS) Pref PS (Pediatric Sonography) by ARDMS
- Registered Vascular Specialist-2A-RVS Essential
- Registered Vascular Tech-2A-RVT Essential
- Basic Life Support-2R-BLS Essential Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.20 Life Support Course Requirements - Time Frame: Upon Hire
