Responsibilities
- Enter cost of customer food items into cash register, apply employee discounts as appropriate, total customer purchase, receive payment and make change.
- Balance the cash drawer on a daily basis and complete any related paperwork. Maintain cleanliness and neatness of cashier area and serving area; assist others in keeping dining room tables clean. Line server duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and neatness of storerooms.
- Restock areas as appropriate throughout the day. Places proper signage in retail outlets as needed. Maintain a clean, well stocked, and orderly retail serving area at all times.
- Shows sense of urgency to reduce customer wait times.
- At least 1 year previous experience cashiering Required
- High school diploma or equivalent Required
- Obtain Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire, and maintain current status thereafter. Required
