Summary
The Clinical Research Associate for the AIM center works directly with the AIM Center Imaging Scientist and other investigators for research projects; as well as other clinical disciplines utilizing AIM Center imaging services. Responsibilities include assisting in research projects including IRB regulatory work, running reports on data from imaging software, maintaining a good standing with vendor contracts, and assisting with operations and maintenance of the AIM Center equipment and space. Primary duties include obtaining consent for research participation, obtaining 3D and 4D imaging, entry and analysis of data, coordination of observational research projects, establishing research databases, performing and reporting simple analyses, printing 3D models, and contributing to publication and dissemination of results. This position is 50% research and 50% imaging and data analysis.

Responsibilities
- Works with investigators to obtain clinical images, research consents, and data for research purposes. Supports clinicians across the organization with clinical imaging requests. Inputs and performs analysis of the data. Maintains and produces routine and ad hoc reports on data from imaging analysis software that support the operational, clinical, and research goals of the AIM Center. Assists with research experiments in operating room or AIM Center per request. Responsible for uploading research consents into department drive, EPIC, and registering patients in Velos.
- Manages equipment in AIM Center, providing daily and/or weekly calibration of imaging systems. Will manage equipment and software trouble shooting with Practice Administrator and vendor and oversee repair visits and contract renewals. Identifies future equipment needs for AIM Center and responsible for ordering supplies for all AIM Center systems.
- Responsible for obtaining high quality imaging 3D, 4D, and Vicon video imaging. Once images are obtained, they must be edited and imported images/videos into appropriate drives. Operate and maintain imaging hardware and software.
- Print 3D models by appropriate scan from PACS system and will edit/scan in providers request via Mimic, 3Matic, and Zedit. Will process scans then print 3D model. Once printed correctly, deliver model to requested party.
- Responsible for producing all imaging necessary to meet the requirements of all research plans in the AIM Center. Provide assistance to end users who need to use the imaging equipment for their practice. Participate in training programs to develop additional skills and/or enhance existing skills; obtain/maintain appropriate certifications; and perform other duties and special projects as required. Attend meetings and present status of equipment and consents.
- Learn how to use all software, imaging, and data systems in the AIM center including, but not limited to 3D imaging, 4D imaging, Vicon Videos, EPIC, Velos, PACS, Mimic, 3Matic, Zedit, etc.
- Less than 1 year Data Analysis required
- Familiarity with statistical concepts applicable to the clinical and/or research setting required
- Proficient in a bio-medical imaging and scientific environment preferred
- Job related experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
